This book series isn’t exactly widely popular. Not everyone has read that far yet. Please. For the sake of I don’t even give a damn what. USE THE GODDAMN ***SPOILER WARNING***
That ever happen to you? Where you’re reading the reviews of a series based off your favorite series? Just casually trying to find out if anyone has the same complaints as you about basic, non-plot-essential things. And then someone. Some smart-ass bitch. Has to go and ask “what happened to [insert plot-important event] and [same] and [oh my god this is like the biggest part of all]?” They decide to just casually in the first line of the review reveal everything that is important in the series after book three. Well I just happened to have finished book three, and the first few things are most likely spilled in the fourth book. However, I don’t know if I want to get there anymore. I read a book because I don’t know what’s going to happen. I read Lord of the Rings after seeing the movies, but after 58 years, most everything is going to be out. Especially since it’s popular and wide-read. The series of Rizzoli and Isles books is only 11 years old; that’s just the first book. The books being spoiled are only between months to 8 years old. In a not-so wide-spread series (though it has gotten popular), I’d give a much longer time frame than, say, Harry Potter to have all the details spilled among each other and the internet. Hell, we knew Dumbledore was gay within hours of that volume being release. We knew the ending of the seventh book before they even started on that movie. Movies are spoiled easily within hours of release, sometimes there are even leaks before release. Screenshots are an easily spreadable media; especially on a gif-obsessed site like Tumblr. But for a book series like Tess Gerritsen’s? One that plays on the suspense and mystery of it? Not. Okay. I don’t know if I’ll be continuing to read it or not. It doesn’t seem worth it anymore now that I know what happens.
