This is a baby Blue Jay outside of Kate’s house. Ain’t he cute? It’s just learning to fly! There are actually two of them, but to go under the trees to take pictures of the other one would have been near suicide as the parents were both watching me very closely. One did make contact with the top of my head while taking this picture, then I ran to my car and left them alone.
Note: Bird was not harmed nor touched. No, it did not fall out of its nest, and no the parents will not abandon it because I looked at it.
