Alexandria Trip

Chris and I came up to Alexandria for his mom’s birthday and had some adventures.  I caught a 2lb 6oz Bass on my first trip fishing since 6 years ago.  All together, we caught 6 [keeper] fish in one day, and he caught one the day before.  Chris cleaned the fish for dinner for him and his mom to have (I hate fish).  Chris’s grandpa has some pretty wildflowers growing in part of the yard, and there were a few really deep red ones and some white with pink in the center.  There’s also a neighbor’s cat that, according to Chris’s mom, roams the farm quite often.  I was really close to catching it but the sawdust pile tripped me when I leaned forward.  Everywhere there are bird’s nest boxes with King Birds and Bluebirds.  We also found deer prints.  Overall a fun mini-vacation so far!  We’re leaving in the morning so that Chris can get to work at 10.  Have to leave at 8! Ugh.
